After an unexpected change with our Time Keeping solution, we found ourselves in need of switching Time Keeping platforms. The challenge – find a new solution, obtain a signed contract and be live with our new solution before our existing contract expired. We start down the path the last week in February, 2021 and by the last week in May, 2021,we were live.

I’ve been told we broke records for the fastest implementation and maybe that’s true. But what’s also true is that we couldn’t have done so without the tremendous help from Step Up Consulting. They were chosen as our Implementation Partner and what a great Partner they turned out to be. If they had a two-week notice to prepare, I’d be surprised. Thankfully, our rules were not overly complex. They were methodical in their approach and set clear expectations for the project. They quickly told us precisely what they needed and the required deadline. Once they had the data, they build our required configuration and were able to turn over our environment in less than 10 days. We spent the next 8 days testing and fine-tuning a few things.

Accruals really challenged us – did I mention we were learning the system?

Throughout our challenges with accruals, Step Up Consulting was by our side, often after hours, providing education, insight and that extra set of hands to ensure everything was just right for our Go-Live. A month after our Go-Live, we were able to implement an entirely new population into the system, which again, we couldn’t have accomplished if Step Up Consulting hadn’t so we prepared us ahead of time.
